Can we have a view?
Saturday, September 22, 2007
iRonnie said:
Most people spend a considerable amount of time in customizing or in finding a desktop wallpaper that suits their taste. Sadly, our computers often remains personal.
Why don’t we brag to the world our good-find wallpapers and let them have a peek to our personality via our desktops?
I was tagged by dearie Beng and it's good that instructions were clear and posted coz if not I will not know how to go about it.
Well, on top is a view of my desktop. Who else will the vanidosa feature but her face, hahaha.... you need not wonder why.
The tagging usual procedure:
Spread it out thru tagging people whom you think eager enough to do the task
Now it’s my turn to tag the following 5? bloggers:
Melissa-AnP
Kristine
JC Smith
Deden
Dodong Flores
My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. You can do a screen capture by:
[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key)
[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).
[3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.
According to Knoiz:
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.
According to : People who have already pimped their desktop list:iRonnie - I Set No Corner Thess - Thesserie Rebecca - Skippy Heart Knoizki - A Dialogue With K, Beng - Kauderwelch plus me Vanidosa Marie, and me again at Vanidosa at blogspot.
Looking forward to a Dell Laptop

Succession Planning
We have been in the security industry for over 40 years now and I may gladly say we are doing well. All credits goes to its founder, my father-in-law who have initiated, applied and imparted to us some succession planning tools that we had made use to this very day.
Entrepreneurs should never be contented and never cease to think and find all the means to improve in order to offer the best service and merchandise for public consumption and alongside gain more profit.

DIY Hair Coloring
I don't normally do this not if there's an urgent need. Just when I was about to leave for the salon, I realized that it was a Wednesday and the one who does my coloring is in his day off. I have a scheduled meeting with a prospective client and will be having dinner with Gina & Beth tomorrow and birthday parties to attend to this week-end so this DIY is badly needed.

The Keys To Your Heart

The Keys to Your Heart |
In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you. You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change. You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please. Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with. Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred. In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted. |

Because if no one was ever snobby, no one would ever try to dress up or look pretty. And while you do enjoy the finest things in life (that you can afford), you tire of superficiality. You know there's more to life than what's just on the surface. |

Weight Loss Method
Obesity solutions and weight loss methods have been considered to get rid of his excess weight and one of this is to undergo a weight loss surgery. This Lap Band Surgery makes use of an adjustable belt that wraps around the upper potion of your stomach, creating a smaller gastric pouch which will limit the amount of food that can be contained in the stomach, slowing down food flow. As a result, one will feel full faster with smaller amount of food. The Laparoscopic Band’s contraction also helps restrains cravings between meals.
We have heard a lot of success stories from many patients who have tried this weight loss option. My husband was encouraged and will undergo the same procedure soon.

Sporty Halloween Costumes
Just yesterday, a group of young boys came to ask me if I they can come wearing a sporty attire as their Halloween Costumes. Know what? They are a bunch of football fanatics who are dying to wear their favorite team get up complete with all the needed accessories from top to bottom. Of course I said yes and even gave them this website so they can surf and enhance the ideas they have in mind. The boys were very happy, excited and they cannot wait much longer for this event.

In fairness, I've seen this couple, Camille and Anthony since they were in their teens tagging along with their parents Mareng Alma & Pareng Dondee (Camilles's) and Mareng Mel & Pareng Eddie (Anthony's) in almost all the parties/occassions of BFF Edna. Edna's daughter Ginger and Camille are bestfriends since grade school days at O.B. Montessori. So, in some ways I also had an idea how love bloomed between Anthony and Camille.

*With sexy shoes your legs will appear longer and slimmer than they actually are. They also help to create more elegant curves starting from your hip and going down to your toes.*
Oh no! As much as I love wearing sexy high heel shoes the way I used to some years back, I don’t feel comfortable anymore. I tried wearing one the other day when I attended a client’s meeting but gosh it hurts and got cramps. Good thing I brought a pair of spare lower heeled shoes but just the same I had to have a leg massage when I got home. I think I need a little practice to get use to wearing sexy high heeled shoes again!
Don't delay, go for treatment at once!

A Sexy Halloween
Saturday, September 8, 2007
With Halloween just around the corner, it’s good I already have an idea from one internet site on what Halloween Costume my young lady Queenie and grandaughters will wear for their class party. But who say’s Halloween parties are just for kids or young people around? Of course not!
My friends and I have organized a Halloween party exclusively for females. Why? It’s because we all agreed to come in Naughty Halloween Costumes and Sexy Halloween Costumes . We will hold the party in one of my pal’s condo suite somewhere in Ayala, Alabang and that’s definitely exciting to look forward to. Our group often meets for plain girl talks, sharing what’s new with us over coffee or tea, plain dinner or lunch which became kind of boring at times so this different menu was conceptualized.
Thanks to this site! They offer a huge selection of Naughty Adult Costumes to insure you look and feel sexy. They are the largest Adult Party and Halloween Costumes Shop and all their costume selections come in DISCOUNTED prices.
Go grab a sexy costume and Have a Naughty Halloween!

Poker Tables at Cardroom
I found a site to help us with our quest for the perfect poker table. Cardroom Supply has one of the internets largest selection of high quality Poker Tables and poker supplies and 90% of their tables are in stock and are shipped the same or the next business day. Cardroom Supply sends all orders out as fast and safe as possible. You can order online or call toll free if you have any questions. They offer free shipping for purchases over $100.
Now, we are a little confused which of their wide arrays to choose from. They even have this foldable type which you can easily slip in just any corner to save space when it’s not in use while there’s also this one that you can use as a new dining table for your hobbies and puzzles complete with roll casters to make your play experience easy and comfortable, brand new and very elegant. The later is my husband’s favorite piece. We have to act real soon which of those Poker Tables we decide to buy.

Chip Sets
Friday, September 7, 2007
Though I am not a gambler per se’, we visited their amazing casinos and tried my hand just for the experience and thrill of it. First we had some cash exchanged at a casino cage or counter for tokens which is termed as casino tokens or chips which are small discs in place of currency. These are colored metal or compression molded clay tokens in different denominations and are primarily used in table games but not in slot machines.
I’m quite familiar with these Chip Sets because I remembered having purchased a set which we use for our majong sessions at home. For those of you who are in need of high quality chips, Cardroom Supply offers casino quality poker chips sets at great prices.
The best part about these chips is that they already have the denominations on them but are not limited into being either dollars or cents. The 5, 25, 50, and 1 chip can be used as either Dollars or Cents or any currency they represent, making them extremely versatile for the user. The detail on these chips is perfect and their unique design makes them great for casinos and home-style play alike. Remember to check this out it you need quality at affordable poker chips

An innovative approach to learning
When my youngest daughter entered school, I noticed that she’s a slow learner and doesn’t have much interest to learn. I asked advices from friends and one of them recommended that I get her an Innovative Tutor, one who can help my child develop key academic skills and goal-setting abilities. This particular program assesses kids’ academic strengths and weaknesses before they even start tutoring, so the teachers can create customized learning plans for each child. Score Learning Centers offers this new and innovative tutoring program to enhance and enrich the child’s learning abilities. I will definitely take my child to a Score Learning Center.

Inspiring blog links
Thursday, September 6, 2007
In my case this blogging experience has taught me so many wonderful things. I have build an online journal of what’s been happening in my life for the past three years and get the opportunity of sharing them with people around on line. I have established friendship among my links shared my views and comments on encouraging topics with moral lessons you will learn from which they joyously shared with. And lately I have hopped in the bandwagon of professional bloggers making good money out of it.
I have been very lucky with my so called blog links and a I have met quite a number of them in person. Meeting up with them was so much fun; there were no inhibitions because there was this so called bonding which has developed prior to the encounter.
Memoirs of a Sojourner by blogger David is highly recommended for your “reads”. Here, he shares inspiring stories of his life struggles – the joy and suffering of living and the wonders of prayer.

Weekend Finds
Monday, September 3, 2007
It has been three weeks ago since my daughter have been bragging about this latest shoe brand which she said I would love for sure. I checked out it's local site plus I checked it out last week at Mix-Greenbelt but they have few stocks and styles left because the saleslady claimed it was selling like hotcakes......hmmm? She told me to check it out at Mia Bella at Serendra if they still have smallest sizes for styles and colors I like. Early Sunday morning, I called Mia Bella and reserved for it. Anyway my daughter Rhea promised to share 2,000 bucks out of her first paycheck and even drove me of to Serendra after our afternoon church vesper service.
With us is my pretty niece Camille.
P.S.
I was also lucky to buy 2 tops on sale at 2 boutiques at the Mall of Asia prior to this and a pair of black flat doll shoes. Wowee!

Strictly for Girls!!!
Sunday, September 2, 2007
Brazilian waxing is the procedure of removing hair in the genital area. Girls to women of different ages go for varied and different reasons like 1) hygiene, 2) they find it sexy and/or 3) they don’t want them sticking out of their undies or bikinis.
Here*s how it*s done in Tips N Toes
Waxing is done in a private room with a door. You remove your pants & underwear and sit in a coach with clean towels or sheets. It takes about 30 min. to an hour.
Powder is applied over the genital area first. The waxer will dip a waxing stick into a pot of hot wax and then spread it in a bandage like cloth strip. She will then apply the cloth strip over the upper area first of the “V” pressing firmly so the cloth, hair and wax adhere to one another. When the wax has cooled, she will pull the strip off, in the opposite direction of your hair growth, pulling the hairs out by the root and so on. The best waxers are fast, which means less discomfort for you. Your waxer will tweeze any stray hairs.
Once the waxing is done, the waxer will spread soothing lotion over the waxed areas to avoid bumps and redness.
Be sure to get the name of the waxer so when you come back for another appointment you can have the same person to do it and don’t have to go naked again all for another stranger.
What to expect:
Like any waxing, the procedure can be very painful at first but frequent visits usually cut down the pain factor. As for the embarrassment factor – you just have to think that getting a Brazilian can't be any more embarrassing than a typical visit to your gynecologist's office. These aestheticians have seen it all before.
