The Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Manila was recently launched at the Abbott Hall of San Beda College, Mendiola, Manila headed by Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, Manila Barangay Bureau Director and Executive Director-Adcom Atty. Analyn Marcelo Buan (right), PDEA NCR Director Pedrito Magsino (2nd from right), Congressman Jose T. Ramirez, Congressman Atong Asilo (left), MPD Director General Roberto Rongavilla (3rd from left) and some Barangay Chairmen (with yours truly) and students who also joined the event.

My husband’s creatine level has fast shoot up during the last 2 years mainly because of kidney problems brought about with his diabetes. Diabetes itself is not so much of a problem but rather the complications that go with it since he has genetically acquired it since he was 33 years old. Now that he is 51, both his kidneys are severely damaged. Thanks to these creatine powders which we consider a wonder treatment that is delaying the problem. No Need Right Now
Yes! For once, I don't need to be problematic about weight gain and stuff. With what I am doing right now, I don't need diet pills to keep my weight down. I will have to put aside this diet pills that work, since I really do not need it. Putting on weight was really a problem to me before I started campaigning. It's a good thing that even if I stuff my mouth with any food that I want, nothing is happening. It's probably due to a little stress here and there. Add to that the calories that I burn while doing house to house campaigning, which to me is the best.

Some people are not so blessed with good skin. I am so thankful that I don’t have much problem with mine even in my younger days. I know of a friend with nice clear facial skin- no big pores, no blackheads and whiteheads, no spider veins, no acne whatsoever. During the recent visit of the noted Catholic healing priest Father Suarez, I saw with my two bare eyes these sick people who patiently waited in queue to be prayed over by the priest hoping for relief and some miraculous cure. Seeing them made me thankful and blessed. I can just imagine their physical and financial agonies along with their families who were there to give their endless support and loving care to their loved ones. I will pray that god will continue to give our family good health and that he will prolong Rey’s fight with diabetes and creatinine level from going up. On the lighter side, I was amazed with the patio cushions that decorated the stools and benches of the Sta. Ana Church Garden. It was my first visit since it was renovated and found the ambience so serene.
