SD card

Sunday, January 31, 2010

After a week of impatiently pounding and throwing out his three-year old phone in distress, my husband finally got himself an N96. Good for him! What’s nice about it was that I got the chance to have my digital camera for a minor repair since sometimes I’m having a hard time bringing along my bulky Nikon camera. Apart from this I also bought a new SD card for added memory. Good enough for a photo addict like me!

Basic information you would like to know about Phosphacore

Phosphacore was developed years ago, around the time of the whole propaganda surrounding hoodia, a cactus with promise as diet aid. It says to provide that tummy fat melting magic with a "rare African herb." They even claim that you could lose 25 pounds in 2 weeks with ingredients that include phosphatidylserine, cis-9-trans-11, conjugated linoleic acid, and vitamin C though none of these are "rare African herbs" as claimed earlier. They are just common ingredients you could literally find anywhere. One thing about Phosphacore is that it has no side effects related to its use. If you are interested in this as a diet supplement, please check phosphacore reviews for added insights and information related to Phosphacore use.

How to spot the most effective

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

On parties and social gatherings I attend, most of the ladies topic is all about weight loss, fitness and beauty. They share and compare notes on each other’s knowledge and experiences on these. When they talk about weight loss and fitness, the common question raised is what are the most effective diet pills among the thousands of choices in the market and the internet? One recommended practice to at least get an answer is to browse and compare among these diet pills and then trim down your choices after. Check the personal testimonies and comments of people who had personally tried them. I think this will be a good idea.

Brgy. Council Planning/Bonding 2010

Sunday, January 17, 2010

We left at 6:45 a.m. quite late for the 5:30 a.m. scheduled time. Before heading for Tagaytay, we took our breakfast at McDonalds Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Just like last year, we planned to have the planning session and discussion at the same spot at the Picnic Grove but due to rain showers, we scouted for another venue - a close one since it was too cold.

Supposedly, the original plan was to have a lunch in a local restaurant but my niece Lolit who lives in the adjacent town of Silang sent us 2 courses (chicken cordon bleu and pork asado) and leche flan for dessert so what we did was to rent a cottage somewhere overlooking Taal Lake. Thinking that since the holidays are over, I will no longer get the chance to eat much. Now I am contemplating on particular diet plans that work on someone who cannot resist to indulge on eating too much when exposed. That’s me!!!

Wrong areas

Sunday, January 17, 2010

Do you agree that as one grows older, fats are stored in many unwanted areas of the body? I do. I’m starting to notice that as well. How I wish these fats travel to my boobies, butt and hips instead which I know is impossible. It’s hard to choose from among the so called best fat burner from thousands offered in the market today. Well let me browse this site, fatburneradvice.com to begin with.

I will visit NYC soon

Friday, January 15, 2010

The big apple was one place I missed when we had the chance to visit America years back. If plans push through next year, I will definitely find time to travel from San Francisco to New York City and stay for even just a day in a new york luxury hotel. Allow me to go big-time just for a day! I know my friends around NYC will be happy to see me and most of them had already called to offer their NYC homes. All I need to do soon is renew my visa.

Launch of the

USAID-Rotary Pasig River Improvement Project

Paco and Sta. Ana, Manila, Philippines

Pasig River Ferry January 13, 2009 2:30 p.m.

Ms. Marina Vergara

Chair, Barangay 885, Zone 97

District 6, Santa Ana, Manila

Dear Chair Vergara,

We would like to invite you to the launching of the USAID-Rotary Pasig River Improvement Project for the areas of Paco and Santa Ana, Manila on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 2:30 pm. Our launching will be held on the Pasig River Ferry Boat—we will cruise the Pasig River while we introduce the project goals, objectives, activities and expected results to our guests and local stakeholders.

Santa Ana is a historical part of Manila with particular significance because of the Santa Ana Church, second in importance to the lntramuros Church in Metro Manila. The Camarin of the Virgin (known as Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados) was designated a National Treasure by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in 2008.

The USAID-Rotary Pasig River Improvement Project aims to contribute to the efforts of Kapit Bisig sa Ilog Pasig to improve the state of the Pasig River by undertaking wastewater treatment, solid waste management, hygiene promotion and related activities in Paco and Santa Ana, Manila and in Baesa, Quezon City.

The rendezvous point for the launch is the Pasig River Ferry Station, located behind the Santa Ana Public Market. Assembly time is at 2:30 pm and the boat will depart at 2:45 pm. Please see the attached program and project description. Kindly confirm your attendance on or before Monday, January 11, 2010 by calling Lola Grande Foundation at 923-1049 or 217-5355 or e-mailing lgfwc@yahoo.com.

We hope that you can join us in launching this important project that we hope will serve as a model throughout Metro Manila and the country.

Very truly yours,

Lisa Kircher Lumbao Maria Concepcion N. Beltran

Chief of Party District Governor

USAID Philippine Sanitation Alliance Rotary International District 3810

It's a girl!

Sunday, January 3, 2010

A friend was so enthusiastic to shout to the world that she’s having a baby girl and is planning to have a baby shower soon after she delivers. Their first born is a boy and they are so happy to have a baby girl after five years. Just like any other couples whose wish were granted to have a female child, baby girl announcements are so exciting. I’m equally proud and happy to be one among their friends who received an earlier invites and the very first few who were informed of the joyous news. Congratulations!

Welcome 2010 !!!

Photobucket
Year 2009 went by in a blink of an eye, oh how fast! I can't say I didn't do much last year because there were much improvements done in the Barangay but oh it's really difficult to balance everything that some aspects in my life have suffered. I'm just hoping to start the year right and do whatever I think is best for me and everyone else (how broad!). I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and be careful of what comes out of my mouth - "less talk less sin".
I’m not going to make a list of resolutions this year, instead give everything my best shot!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!
