Fight Common Health Problems
Saturday, June 30, 2007
In this present world of chemically manufactured drugs to fight all common and complicated forms of diseases many resort to the use of complementary and alternative medicines over the recent years and the global market for herbal products has risen dramatically.
Herbal medicine is a matching therapy that uses plants or plant extract to treat illnesses. There are a number of herbal products available that claim to treat a wide range of problems from hypertension to common insect bites.
Conventional herbal medicine is just one of the many different approaches to using plants as remedies. Others include Phytotherapy or the use of Tinctures from Phytosolution and Chinese herbal medicine. Traditional herbal medicine has been used in the United Kingdom for centuries and it remains popular, even in the era of scientific medicine and modern pharmaceuticals.
Herbal practitioners believe that the delicate chemical balance of the whole herb is needed for greatest effect and to reduce potential side-effects. Different parts of the same plant, such as the flowers or seeds, can have very different actions. Herbal medicine is not about isolating the active ingredients from a plant which is the way that conventional medicines are often derived.
Tinctures from Phytosolution combat many common health problems. Created and tested for generations in Paris with a high success rate, some of their finest herbal tinctures are available online from Phytosolution.com.
Their products include DEFATIL which efficiently increase your stamina and focus your energy, REDUXIL, a natural diuretic that helps weight loss, SEXUAL TONIC FOR MEN, a natural aphrodisiac for men. This classical herbal tincture increases desire and stimulates the libido, SEXUAL TONIC FOR WOMEN which increases sexual desire and will stimulate the female libido, SLEEP AID, for relief of occasional sleeplessness, STRESS TONIC, natural and effective stress relief, TINCTULAX, provides natural relief for occasional constipation and VEINODEAL, an organic Herbal Tincture for Venous Insufficiency. It naturally maintains your vascular function and avoid the discomfort of venous insufficiency with this tincture. This is the answer to your suffering from varicose veins.

New Look
Thursday, June 28, 2007
It's our main bathroom on the first floor that's been undergoing complete renovation for almost 2 weeks now and I'm getting a little impatient. Since the work started, we've been using the laundry/and bathroom of our angels (househelps) to bathe needing to heat water, using a pail and a dipper because the shower isn't working. The powder room in our room serves as wash and comfort room only. It may take about 3 more days till it's done and the angels' toilet and bath will be next in line. Our living area is also in a total disarray.
Anyway, I'm more thankful than impatient for our bathroom's new and brighter look from black bowl and green tiles to a beige bowl and mosaic multi-colored tiles.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG
Sunday, June 24, 2007
A forwarded e-mail from my Singapore based cousin Marisor that I love and like to share.
A VERY BEAUTIFUL REMINDER . . . TO KEEP US YOUNG . . . FOREVER
1. Throw out non essential numbers. This includes age, weight, and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them.
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)
3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop. "And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!
4. Enjoy the simple things
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots oftime with him or her!
6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is yourself. LIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
"Remember, growing older is mandatory; growing up is optional." "Good friends are like stars.........You don't always see them, but you know they are always there."

Beauty/Vanity Bonding
Saturday, June 23, 2007
One of us noticed that our bonding have been more often unlike before that when we set to meet, one or the other can't make it. Alas! Thanks for our common interest of *beautification*. Another thing, since our fellow vanidosa is now a certified doctor and specializing in Dermatology, how can she resist our bugging her to do this and that. She loves doing these and those for her *sisterettes*. We had dinner at her home, (I brought Beef Mechado, they served us my favorite recipe of hers, Beef Steak and E brough a special caramel cake) and our hubs had their own share of bonding too while waiting for their ladies.
This time it*s the intravenous glutathione injection (I begged off, I'm scared! maybe next meeting) .
What is Glutathione?
-it is a protein (amino acid) molecule which is important as our body antioxidant, immune system booster and detoxifier
-it presents in every cell to promote normal function as maintaining the immune system
-one of the master antioxidant that mostly found in liver
-it eliminates toxic compound (such as Paracetamol) in liver
-it reconstitutes vitamin C and E which is being oxidized
-combine taking with vitamin c injection greatly enhance your immunity, reduces tiredness, more youthful skin and stay healthy
-fights against the cancer, heart disease, premature aging, autoimmune disease and chronic illness

A lunch treat courtesy of the birthday girl
Monday, June 18, 2007
Cuz, treated me to lunch for my favorite Japanese foodies at *Sugi* Greenhills. It*s been almost a month since we last bonded and things, activities and events came in between which each of us shared with different people *coz we were preoccupied with other activities that we had to do separately. We also had coffee at Starbacks and a little shopping at the nearby Theatermall.
Btw, wawooo! she was so happy to receive her first paycheck from *Review Me*, for some sponsored posts she wrote. Now I know it*s not at all hoax so, from now on, expect some sponsored entries from this site to earn moolah for my hair volume rebonding. Cuz has been teasing me of my fluffy hair as evidenced by the above photo, she said it's like a shampoo commercial showing its before and after effect. Waaaaaaaah!!!

Lipo-dissolve
Saturday, June 16, 2007
Lipo-dissolve is being marketed as an innovative alternative to liposuction that involves a simple series of medicated injections which dissolve unwanted small localized areas of fat. Fat-related problems that proponents of lipo-dissolve claim can be treated include:
upper and lower abdomen
thighs
upper arms
saddlebags
fat pads under the eyes or chin
cellulite
stretch marks
scars
residual fat deposits post-liposuction
In addition to possible small areas of fat-loss, stretch-mark, and cellulite reduction, the treatment may improve skin tone, elasticity, and increase collagen production that is impeded through the natural aging process. However, lipo-dissolve does not stop the aging process. Fat can appear again throughout your lifetime.
What is Lipo-Dissolve?
The ingredients used in lipo-dissolve may vary depending on the doctor and the area being treated. The ingredients may include phosphatidyl choline, multivitamins, alpha lipid acid, enzymes, and plant extracts. Ingredients may also include chemical agents such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, antibiotics, and hormones.
When Lipo-Dissolve May Not Be Appropriate
Lipo-dissolve should not be used for pregnant women, nursing mothers, obese patients; or people with diabetes, autoimmune diseases, vascular complications, or infections of any kind. It is important to note that lipo-dissolve is not an appropriate treatment for large areas of fat. In addition, it is recommended that all lipo-dissolve candidates participate in a proper diet and regular exercise program.
The Lipo-Dissolve Procedure
During lipo-dissolve, the medication is injected into the fat layers and connective tissue. The injection is relatively painless, with no need for anesthesia. The medication produces a chemical reaction in conjunction with the body's physiology to dissolve localized areas of fat.
Benefits from each injection should be evident within three weeks of the treatment. Several treatments, four to six weeks apart, are often required to produce a fully satisfactory result.
Lipo-Dissolve Aftercare
Patients will need a properly maintained diet, regulated hormone levels, and an exercise regimen. Doctors typically assist with developing health-related activities. There is no recovery time after lipo-dissolve treatment.
Complications and Risks of Lipo-Dissolve
Complications from the injection are considered minimal—slight bruising, infection, swelling or an allergic reaction—which can be treated by your doctor as needed. However, the long-term effects of lipo-dissolve have not been established.

a week-end seminar
Sunday, June 3, 2007
A week-end seminar or I may say a refresher training was held yesterday, Saturday and today, Sunday to upgrade and update our employees/security guards performance to be able to give the best interest to our clients. We've been rendering security services to this Bank for almost 3 years employing about 210 guards. We schedule this kind of seminars to various clients too. I tasked myself to lead the opening prayer, opening remarks and a lecture on customer service. Other subjects such as firearms handling (theory and actual hands on, bank policies, etc. were also taken. Here were some photos taken.
