dance tutorials to photo shoot

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Right from my daughter Queenie’s summer classes at O.B. Montessori, Greenhills we went straight to Cuz Girlie’s house along with our Barangay’s bet for Bb. Sta. Ana, Ms. Imeelou. The pageant is scheduled on May 11, the day before our Town Fiesta. I thought of requesting Cuz to teach Imeelou a belly dance number to be presented in the talent portion of the pageant. It turned out that Imeelou doesn’t have the grace and moves to dance at all and she eventually gave up. Well, the dance session turned out to be a photo session and a counseling encounter in the end.

Auto loans online

Monday, April 28, 2008

It has been our constant practice to dispose and replace our vehicles every three years. Some of the reasons behind this are bigger resale value, to avoid the big cost of maintaining a soon to be old modeled car along the years and of course the longing to own an updated or brand new one every now and then. You may think we purchase them for cash; the answer is a big NO. We have them financed by lenders who offer the best deals on auto loans for new car purchase, for used cars and refinancing current auto loans.

Among the most important consideration of course is finding the best rate of interest. Next is the length of time the documents are processed because of the excitement to drive along a new one as soon as possible.

Did you know that I found a site along with an Auto Loan Blog where you can find
the various features of auto loan applications, tips, tricks and all sorts of other fun facts that everyone should know before applying for an auto loan. Yes, it’s at Get the Best Auto Loan.com; it’s the internet's preferred source for auto loans & auto financing! Simply fill out a form online for a free auto loan quote with no obligation to buy at once.

Week-end Snapshots

This is just another decor at Barangay 885 you'll not miss noticing along the stretch of Lamayan Street. They call this "Mural Paintings" and this was courtesy of 6th District Congressman Benny Abante, Jr. It was made by 2 elderly men which took them about 3 days to finish the project. I was amazed at this work of art since I was there and witnessed how they started and finished the walling.

It's not plainly painted as you will see from the photos but the designs are beautifullyy embossed. By now, I'm thinking of having some plain walls in our Barangay painted the same way IF the Congressman will give in to another request.

Can you spot the difference?

That's just a part of what I've been busy about lately. I've started a make-over of Barangay 885. Painting of sidewalls leading to smaller sidestreets and street posts were done and pavements to follow that's aside from the enforcement of proper garbage disposal and cleaning of our surroundings. I'm much elated to know that residents notice the big difference since I was seated as Chairman. More to see in my next entries.

Friday, April 25, 2008

I didn’t realize that it’s already a Friday and my last entry was Sunday. Actually I still have pending ads to do but that didn’t make me panic since I have been preoccupied with sooooo…. many things that needs to be done. Yeah right! Mostly on community service, a little participation or almost neglecting business related job (our security agency). There were lots of things for me to do in our office these past days, thanks to Rey and Marcy! and tagging along with Rey at the grocery/malls and coffee shops. My supposed to be two nights free for blogging was spent playing majong that I just cannot evade because of some reasons. I have pending tags, campaign ads and important events/happenings which I do not want to miss posting. Once again to catch up, expect subsequent entries here and HERE.

Shower faucets

Sunday, April 20, 2008

We badly need to replace our defective shower faucets soon. Good thing I came up with this site – faucet.com where I can shop for quality brands within our budget. They have a wide selection of shower faucets to choose from depending upon configuration – single or two handled, finish – black, brass/gold, bronze, chrome, copper, nickel, stainless steel or white, brand - Kohler, Delta Faucet, Moen, Danz, ShowHouse and more and style - .contemporary, traditional, transitional or Victorian.

I have singled-out this very affordable one.

Kiddie Party

The celebrant

grandkids Nadine & Keren

Saturday was spent with the whole family attending a kiddie party of hubby's friend's daughter Gaby who turned one year old. The party was held at the far far away Bounce Playland at Ortigas Extension, Pasig. Imagine the heat that afternoon while the aircon in the venue was busted due to an hour brownout. Grabe talaga! Here are some photos to share.

I need a work-out

Saturday, April 19, 2008

I need to go back to the gym very soon and I'm dead serious just before my bulges starts to completely get out of control. I noticed some fatty layers when I tried on a hugging cotton dress yesterday while shopping for some needed clothes. I have to hit back on my favorite elliptical trainer work-out equipment I normally use, one that has a pulse and heart rate monitor displayed right on a large LCD.

2nd Litratong Pinoy - Ang Kariton (bow!)

Thursday, April 17, 2008

Translation
Anything with four corners is today’s Litratong Pinoy theme. Just in time is the granting of this pushcart from the generous Councilor of the 6th District of Manila, Councilor Ernie Rivera for our Barangay. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks in behalf of my Council and my constituents for this which will be very useful for all of us. If it’s not too much, we are still hoping that another standing request for Barangay Outposts for our “Tanods”-the Peace and Order team will be given to us sooner.

I just can’t deny the feeling, the bulges and the blurring vision. Yeah right! The dreaded old-age thingy! So hard to admit but it’s coming so fast that no matter how speedy I run it’s still catching me up. Well oh well but it’s good I found a site with various selections of low vision aids suitable for the young and the olds with poor eyesight. You know what caught my fancy? It’s the speaking bible and the talking calculator.

Find the best wrinkle cream

Monday, April 14, 2008

While wrinkles are the most striking sign of aging, aging skin is visible before wrinkles form, due to the loss of skin radiance which diminishes as we age. Most of us are in search of the best anti wrinkle cream in the market today to at least help turn back the hands of time. Most of us doesn’t stop experimenting and trying out beauty products to restore skin elasticity due to major harmful factors such as sun damage, stress and wrong diet.

Kids Basketball

Our neighboring Barangay (884) launched a summer basketball competition among kids and juniors participated in by other Barangays in Sta. Ana. We sponsored and managed the team which was named “RADAR Kids” with our little girls Kisses (ooops Nadine pala) and Keren. The sports fest was officially opened yesterday, April 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. A mini parade was held and our team got the Best in Uniform Award and the Best Muse was shared with Barangay 887. Nadine got the trophy while the other got the sash.

Thursday, April 10, 2008

I can't wait for our funds to be released hopefully in two more weeks so I started out with our Beautification Project. Need you still ask the Vanidosa Chairman why?

Since last week, I had all the walls of all the "iskinitas" (alleys), waiting sheds and other landmarks painted in yellow which is the Mayor's standard color motiff. I was just about to hire an artist to have our names painted at the hall and waiting sheds but just in time we learned that Councilor Joey Uy sponsors such project for free.. Thank you!

My desire of owning a laptop have grown intense, more so when I started doing paid posts. This time I felt more committed not just with my fellow blogger links and net friends but also with the various companies I publish ads for. There were times when I even thought of borrowing from laptop rental services when opportunities pile up and need to catch up with the deadline however, I have to be out of the house for some reasons. Do you think I need to rent a laptop?

Attention Blogger Bloggers!

We had a long week-end because April 9, which was supposed to be a holiday, was moved to yesterday, April 7, so I had all the chance to blog and surf. While bloghopping last night, I stumbled upon this site, http://kitapunyalife.blogspot.com/ and here was an entry which caught my concern since this blog is powered by blogger.

If your blog like mine has a blogspot address, you may just want to check this out because there are certain rules here that you may not have followed and may cause your blogs to be deleted.

It pays to be an x-ray technician

Monday, April 7, 2008

Did you ever know that you can earn as much as $55,000.00 as an x-ray technician? I also found out that they pay higher if the x ray technician has a certificate if one goes to certified schools that offer an xray technician course. It is very important that they are properly trained; after all we rely on them for correct and precise x-ray results.

P.S. for March

Sunday, April 6, 2008

Last month was kinda hectic that I just left some important events posted. One reason were the preparations for an almost a week long holiday at Boracay.

March is Women’s month and in lieu of this, there were many activities planned by the City of Manila like seminars and symposiums tackling purely on women issues. Invitations by politicians and/or their wives were attended by yours truly and these were among the photos taken during last month’s affair. Please check more pictures here with DENR Secretary on another event held just yesterday over lunch (April 5) at G Hotel, Roxas Blvd.
