I often see a group of riders in Makati. I think it's some sort of a Friday club because I only see them on that day. You will never miss their group because they draw attention. For one, you hear a roaring sound, second you will admire their big bikes and you won't miss admiring the guys in their outfits. They look awesome. I wonder if some of them wear Olympia Switchback Jacket. I am not really familiar with what bikers wear so I went ahead and searched the internet and that is what I found. Looks cool, right? That's the one they wear when I see those group of guys.

Kids Basketball

Our neighboring Barangay (884) launched a summer basketball competition among kids and juniors participated in by other Barangays in Sta. Ana. We sponsored and managed the team which was named “RADAR Kids” with our little girls Kisses (ooops Nadine pala) and Keren. The sports fest was officially opened yesterday, April 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. A mini parade was held and our team got the Best in Uniform Award and the Best Muse was shared with Barangay 887. Nadine got the trophy while the other got the sash.

Baseball Bats

Do you know that the first thing that came to my mind when I hear the words baseball bats? Baseball Bats to me connotes a rather hard piece of wood that can be use either to hit or attack someone as the case maybe. When I was in my teens I remember we had one placed not at the car’s trunk but inside our car. So I thought it was designed for defensive use because I don’t remember any of our family members who play this sport except for my sister’s friends who are in the RP team. I presumed she asked it from one of them.

Based on my readings, baseball bats are really used as a dangerous weapon in some countries where baseball is not a popular sport. They are linked mostly with crime in the public mind and were even portrayed in some novels and video games wherein its use has no connection to having sports in mind but as a weapon. In the movie The Untouchables, the famous gangster Al Capone used a bat to murder a traitor.
