In line with my being a leader and a public servant lies the chance of meeting public figures as well. I know most of these meetings shall be just in passing (except for one lady who offered friendship (?)), especially those candidates vying for top positions of the country. Everyone knows how politics in this country works. “Now you see them, now you don’t”, “When will I see you again?”, “Great Pretender”, Promises, promises, promises”… and more. Since late last year, I’ve encountered 3 Presidentiables, 3 Vice-Presidentiables, 3 Senatoriables and I bet more coming up. For my District’s local bets, I got to mingle with them more often. This coming May 10 election is my first hand experience of how politics really work and this early I’m finding it stressful, pretentious and scary that I wanna play hide and seek!!!
