The 6th District of Manila where I and my Barangay belong is just lucky to have Councilors who have programs and projects to uplift and educate its constituents toward tech literacy. One of them is Councilor Dennis Lacuna not to forget our Congressman Benny Abante, Jr. who’s offering free computer lessons to anyone interested to learn or enhance their computer know how. I’m one of those who availed this program together with five of our Offices staffs and our Barangay Treasurer as well on different schedules. The course runs for a month and a half on an hour daily schedule from Mondays to Fridays. My schedule is from 4-5 p.m. Tech literacy is a must if we want to progress as a nation. It is best promoted if computer classes are offered for free. Computer units are all new and a class consists of only 12 students per session thereby hands-on lessons are given to each student.
