America, the Concert
Tuesday, December 4, 2007
Now in the midst of its fourth decade of successful music-making, America invaded the local concert in a major show on Dec. 4 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
Hubby and I were looking forward to this concert billed as *All My Life* Philippine Tour,” the musical presentation at Araneta Coliseum. We were there promptly at 8:00 p.m. but it actually started at 9:30 p.m. after a front act by RJ Jacinto, Nyoy Volante and sorry I forgot the other one. I really enjoyed reminiscing my high school days singing one of their hits *Sandman* when we competed for an inter-school Songfest where we won first place held in San Beda College.
I was awed seeing Bongbong Marcos seated in the front row singing and dancing in his seat while watching. The crowd was stunned when *All My Life*, and *A Horse with No Name* were sung. Hmmmm.... those were my days!
