Flash Floods due to Egay
Wednesday, August 15, 2007
We were already at St. Lukes Medical Center at about 8:00a.m. for Rey’s laboratory and blood works when heavy rains due to typhoon Egay poured. On our way home at 12:00 p.m. the skies were clear then but we noticed that there was a heavy flow of traffic when we reached the boundaries of San Juan and Mandaluyong. Motorists where even instructed to re-route because of some flooded areas along our way. We were stranded for more than an hour on a supposedly 20 minute drive. See why…
I was amazed knowing there were still kind people who shared a ride (we also did!)
But on the contrary, made instant business and took advantage (with a fee) of the situation
