About Me

My photo
marie
Inspired by my bestfriend cousin Girlie, I've been blogging since December 2004, but unluckily, I accidentally deleted my previous entries but still lucky to have retained my blog name "Vanidosa". Vanidosa is a hispanic word which negatively means a vain or conceited person. Totally not me! Vanidosa in its positive meaning is a term of endearment used by my late mom whenever she sees me in my best (she always sees me that way, pretty and always looking good, you know what I mean, she's my mom...haha and I got that from her, I'm just the junior vanidosa) hence, my blog name was conceptualized. Vanidosa here is referred to someone who will do just about anything and/or everything right to look good inside out. That's Me! A vain lady about to trek through midlife, happily married with 2 pretty daughters (a medical intern awaiting to take the boards hopefully February, 2008 and a 15 year old bratty high school freshman) and 2 equally pretty and smart grandkids, a business enterpreneur helping out her husband with the security business and now entering a new milestone-that of a public servant BUT one who would try just to look her best no matter what preoccupies her.
